Aipoly- Enhancing the Shopping Experience!
Aipoly is a new technology that utilizes AI to bring
benefits to customers, retailers, and organizations. The technology scans each person that enters
the store and assigns them an identity in order to keep track of him. From there, the person’s movements are
followed throughout the store, including keeping track of items that the person
picks up to purchase. At the end of the
shopping trip, there is no more waiting around in checkout lines, as the person
can simply leave the store with the items they picked up, and he will be
charged for those items through his account.
The retailer who owns that store is then able to
keep track of the product levels based on what the technology says has been purchased
and notifies the store that the items need to be restocked. Full inventory scans can be performed by
organizations as well, keeping stock up to date and ensuring that products
never go out of stock.
The technology can be taken one step further and
the information gather can be applied to marketing plans, as retailers are able
to track the paths that people walk through the store, the items that receive
attention, or even the products that are completely ignored. The retailers can then create campaigns or reorganize
their layouts to promote specific products in certain ways and use the
technology to track if the marketing tactics had any impact by comparing peoples’
interactions to their shopping habits before.
This creates a different way for retailers to communicate with
customers, without being so in your face and allowing the customer to feel like
they still have control over their shopping experience. Subtle changes can be made to sway shoppers
one way or another, and exact results can be tracked to see if more or
different changes need to be made.
